Canine Companions Captured In Upcoming Exhibit

An art exhibit will feature artwork centered on  dogs.

The Old Post Office Museum in Winnsboro will be holding an art exhibit that features dogs. The dogs will be featured in  portraits, installation pieces and photography.  The exhibit will feature work from artists in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Museum Curator Kay LaFrance says the exhibit will be a combination of her favorite things. "I've always wanted to do an exhibit featuring dogs. There's so much art out there featuring our furry friends." LaFrance said.

The exhibit will open Thursday, June 18 at 5 p.m.
