"The mission of the Children's Coalition is creating communities where children and families thrive. So, community is at the heart of everything that we do." Lynn Clark, Executive Director, says.

The coalition serves 12 parishes in the Northeast Louisiana region.  Programs are created to knit the connection between parents and their children.

Each program is designed to ensure that children receive proper education on reproduction and pregnancy,  suicide, fitness and early childhood development.

"One of the foci of this particular year has been to reach in to the region and start to have this group impact at the parish level," Clark says.

Programs and initiatives target children from birth to 18-years-old.
