Kate Scheuermann

Kate, as the Underwriting Manager, works in fundraising, and provides corporate and organizational support for WWNO. She finds helping businesses and organizations reach their target audience very rewarding.

Prior to moving to Louisiana, Kate spent 18 years working in banking. A native Michigander, she moved to her husband’s hometown of New Orleans in the spring of 2016. She has two human kiddos and a very handsome dog. Kate’s other passions include supporting environmental causes, gardening, rock collecting, reading, talking about politics, complaining about the heat, and shopping locally.

Working in public radio was always a longtime goal, since NPR has always been “the soundtrack to my life.”
