An Epoch Crumbles And Ravel's Response

Is the greatest waltz of all time written by the Frenchman Maurice Ravel? In the aftermath of World War I, Ravel writes one of the great orchestral works-- La Valse. We explore what he really meant with this, as there are many fascinating historical interpretations. Any way one thinks of it, the glittering, dazzling, beguiling piece is a thrill for the senses. Later on, the 8th symphony of Dvorak, filled with the wondrous melodies for which the Czech composer is known.
