Inside The Arts: French Film Fest, Boyd|Satellite Gallery, Black Orpheus Mardi Gras Ball

This week on Inside the Arts, the Prytania Theatre is ground zero for the 22nd New Orleans French Film Festival. We get a sneak peek at French language films from around the globe with Fallon Young, executive director of the New Orleans Film Society.

Then, we take a long and winding road to a Julia Street art gallery.  Boyd|Satellite is closing its doors with a final exhibit, Number Nine Dream, paying  homage to former Beatle, John Lennon.  Co-owners Ginette Bone and Blake Boyd will join us.

And, the Music Box Village kicks off a new season! It opens on Valentine's Day with a visit from Casa Samba and members of the North Side Skull and Bone Gang performing at its Black Orpheus Mardi Gras Ball. Producer Leah Hennessy and co-director Jay Pennington stop by for a chat.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
