EPA to hold hearings on whether Louisiana should control carbon capture wells
The Environmental Protection Agency kicked off a three-day public hearing in Baton Rouge on Wednesday as they consider granting the state control over permitting wells used to inject carbon underground.
Modest Wage Gains In February As Economy Adds Robust 313,000 Jobs
The largest increase in jobs in 1 1/2 years was accompanied by a 2.6 percent year-on-year increase in wages, a slowdown from January's pace. The unemployment rate held at 4.1 percent.
Fund For Victims Of Parkland Shooting Reaches $7.5 Million
The group overseeing the fund for victims of the Parkland, Fla., shooting met Tuesday to discuss how the funds will be distributed. As of now, more than $7.5 million has been collected.
