This week on Inside the Arts, we're gearing up for a red carpet walk as the opening of the 29th Annual New Orleans Film Festival nears. Fallon Young, executive director of the New Orleans Film Society joins us.

 
Then, local multi-disciplinary artist and activist José Torres-Tama is the subject of a film premiering at the New Orleans Film Festival. He has teamed up with award winning documentary filmmaker Rodrigo Dorfman for the world premiere of This Taco Truck Kills Fascists
 
And, the Preservation Hall Foundation honors elder musicians at its 2nd Annual Legacy Awards Ceremony.
