Wilmington, Ohio, which has a population of about 13,000, was devastated in 2008 when German air cargo shipper DHL announced it was going to close its U.S. hub based there. Within months, thousands of people in Wilmington and surrounding counties lost their jobs.

David C. Barnett from Here & Now contributing station WCPN visited Wilmington just after DHL pulled out. He recently returned and has this story of how the city is faring now.
