FRIDAY: Musheer Robinson, Dan Borne, Steve Almond

Today on the show we visit with Musheer Robinson, the Economic Development Director for the Louisiana NAACP. Robinson has some thoughts about race in America in the aftermath of the tragedy in Ferguson, Missouri.

And the latest development involving a Baton Rouge police officer accused of sending racist texts, resigning and possibly facing criminal charges.

Also we visit with Dan Borne, the Voice of the Valley since 1986. He's the man at the PA system and whose voice will permeate the rafters of Tiger Stadium with its new capacity of 102,321, the 9th largest arena in the world, as LSU opens against Sam Houston State in its home opener Saturday night.

And Steve Almond his about taking on a sacred cow, "Against Football" - one man's reluctant manifesto.
