"Hot Summer Harmony" will be presented in four part a cappella harmony.  The chorus creates music but they don't use instruments. Carol Ogle, chorus member, says they strive to make the best possible music with their voices.

The event is for women of all ages who enjoy the art of singing, but didn't have a push to continue.

"If a lady has sang in high school and loved it, but didn't have a lot of venue to sing after church choir or high school choir  this is for her," Ogle says.

Piney Hills Harmony Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Sweet Adelines was founded 70 years ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There are 23,000 Sweet Adelines around the world.

"Hot Summer Harmony" will be presented July 30, August 6 and August 13 at the Presbyterian Church of Ruston. Visit the Piney Hills website to find out more information.
