Mary Landrieu served in the United States Senate for three terms, from 1997 to 2015. She rose to national prominence as a spokeswoman for Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. In this edition of NOLA Life Stories, the Historic New Orleans Collection's oral history series, Landrieu reflects on her experience after the storm.
