The Historic New Orleans Collection has been gathering oral histories from New Orleanians on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. First up in their series, From The Frontline, is Father Christopher Nalty, a priest who has been performing last rites, the prayer for Catholics who are sick or dying, for COVID-19 patients at Touro Hospital.
This NOLA Life Stories interview was conducted by Mark Cave for The Historic New Orleans Collection and produced for WWNO by Sarah Holtz.
