Since its start as a first grade project, Big Class has distinguished itself through pizza, poetry and ghostly soirées, all the while staying true to its mission to support young writers through education and collaboration.
Big Class has now joined 826 National, making it part of a national learning community while remaining a local organization. Executive Director Doug Keller spoke with NolaVie’s Kelley Crawford about the next chapter in Big Class’s story.
