Inside The Arts: Bands Of Mardi Gras; Monuments Men; The Totalitarians

This week on Inside the Arts, a photographic exhibit captures the essence of Carnival through a unique lens in Stan Strembicki'sBands of Mardi Gras, opening this week at Lemieux Galleries.

The National World War II Museum is marking the opening of the film Monuments Men with a preview of an exhibit that will mark their achievements. Visitors to the planned Liberation Pavilion will step into a replica of a salt mine for a look at the art treasures they saved from the Nazis.

And a new contender in the political arena makes a world premiere in Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's dark, comedic satire, The Totalitarians.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 8:35 a.m.
