“The Body Remembers" is a collection of dances that explore themes of absence in New Orleans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sonic landscape of the Music Box Village comes alive this week with in-person performances! The Newcomb Dance Company and Tulane University's Department of Theatre and Dance are teaming up with New Orleans Airlift for a dance performance of The Body Remembers. It's a collection of dances exploring themes of absence during the COVID-19 pandemic. New Orleans Airlift's lead creative producer Leah Hennessy joins us by phone.
Performances run Thursday, April 15th thru Saturday, April 17th with two performances each night at 6 and 8. The Music Box Village is located at 4557 N. Rampart Street.
