Louisiana recently began its medical marijuana program, ramping up release of the raw, smokable product called “flower.” But long wait lines and pharmacy stocking issues have made the rollout of this program anything but seamless. Medical marijuana patients and advocates Angela Broussard and Joshua Moffet tell us more about the importance of access to this kind of medical treatment.

Also on Louisiana Considered, we check in with some of Louisiana’s most popular entertainment venues as pandemic restrictions wind down and festival season ramps up. Johnny Blancher of the New Orleans and Lafayette Rock’n’Bowl and Robert Mercurio of Galactic and Tipitina’s tell us more about the current state of the club and music industry.

Today’s episode of Louisiana Considered was hosted by Karl Lengel. Our managing producer is Alana Schreiber and our digital editor is Katelyn Umholtz. Our engineers are Garrett Pittman, Aubrey Procell, and Thomas Walsh.
