Schools in Lafourche Parish are tentatively scheduled to reopen on Monday.
School officials said Tuesday that all of the parish schools have electricity and administrators, staff and private contractors are in the process of assessing and repairing damage to the facilities.
Officials expect the examination and repair of the facilities to be completed by the weekend.
