20,316 People Are Presumed Recovered From COVID-19 In Louisiana

The latest report from the Louisiana Department of Health indicates 20,316 people are presumed recovered from COVID-19 in Lousiana — 3,013 more since the April 27 update.

This is the third time the state has reported the number of people presumed to have recovered from the disease caused by the coronavirus. The first time was on April 24, when 14,927 were presumed to have recovered. That number on April 27 was 17,303.

As of Monday, there have been 29,763 known cases of COVID-19 in Louisiana and 1,991 people have died. There are 1,502 people in hospitals with COVID-19 and and 220 on ventilators.
