Here’s what’s on tap in the literary life this week:

Saturday, April 24, is independent Bookstore Day. Five local bookstores are participating in an Indie Bookstore Crawl: Tubby & Coo’s, Baldwin & Co., Blue Cypress Books, Garden District Book Shop, & Octavia Books. Pick up a passport at any of the participating stores at the beginning of the day and hand it in at the end of the day for a chance to win prizes. Most stores have special events planned. Support your local businesses.
