LSU fires coach Brian Kelly in the 4th season of his 10-year, $100 million deal

LSU has fired Brian Kelly during the fourth season of a 10-year contract worth about $100 million. The decision comes on the heels of a loss to No. 3 Texas A&M.

Ex-LSU receiver Kyren Lacy died in an apparent suicide during a police chase, authorities say

Authorities say ex-LSU receiver Kyren Lacy has died at age 24 in an apparent suicide in his car while being pursued by officers in Houston. Lacy already was facing criminal charges stemming from a fatal car accident in December in south Louisiana that had clouded his NFL prospects.
